First year coaches must start with Community Development
U7-U13 Coach Requirements
If you attended a course in 2019 to current, you will show IN TRAINING on your NCCP locker
This is a known issue with Lacrosse Canada and the NCCP locker.
You are considered trained if this is showing on your locker.
U15-U17 Coach Requirements
From getting your NCCP number to registering for your first clinic, the steps to becoming a lacrosse coach
STEP ONE
Get your NCCP number
You can have multiple sport profiles under one NCCP number. If you already have an NCCP number, you do not need another. Skip to step two.
Remember to write your NCCP number and password down

Register for coaching clinic

VIRTUAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COACHING CLINICS
This is a two part course. Sign up for the online portion on coach.ca - both online and on-floor must be completed to receive certification.
1. Attend an ALA virtual coaching clinic: ALA Coaching Clinics
2. Sign up for an ON FLOOR session to complete the course.
